A female pilot belonging to the anti-government organization "The Sleeves" and piloting the MS Kshatriya, Marida's tragic and harrowing past was revealed in the anime episode 3, "Laplace's Ghost," and she has attracted increasing attention from many fans, including those of the original series. This figure faithfully recreates her appearance in the series, sculpted by Norio Kibayashi and painted by Tc.
