Excellent Model 10th Anniversary: We're holding a survey to find out what products you'd like to see made into products!!

  • Come to think of it, what was the trigger?

I just want to do something fun.
I was thinking about things like that, and before I knew it, 10 years had passed.

I, a toy maker who diligently made candy toys of combining robots and transforming weapons,
Figure series I started somewhat haphazardly was the C-Model, the predecessor to Excellent Model.

I loved looking at and buying Figure, but I have absolutely no idea how to make them.
There are no sculptors, finishers, or manufacturers.
We had no leads for wholesalers or retailers; it was truly a completely blank slate.

I managed to get it into some kind of shape through self-study and seeking guidance through connections, running around frantically every day, but...
What awaits you are days filled with the struggle of battling the gap between your ideals and reality.
Things don't turn out the way I want them to, and they don't sell as well as I hoped...

Don't mix your hobbies and work!
They act like pretentious artists (?), but they're not commercially viable and are a nuisance! and so on.
I almost gave up so many times because of that torrential downpour of words.

Amidst all of that, I met so many truly wonderful people.
To everyone who recognized my products, and to everyone who needed me.
And most importantly, to the many, many customers who supported me by purchasing my products.
Thanks to everyone's support, we've managed to get this far.

Before I knew it, 10 years had passed!?
    Over 350 item?!

But the adventure is only halfway through.
Let's transform the joy of celebrating this 10th anniversary together with all of you into the energy to carry us into the next 10 years...

    The fun is just beginning!
    Right?
